I'm not really counting calories or sticking with my plan, but it's alright because the scale apparently approves of what I am doing lately, so I won't worry about it...

b. coffee or tea
l. apple or carrot sticks
d. veggies + rice or pasta

I eat exactly what my son eats when we're together, same portion size & everything. It's all about portion control, right? :)

portion control is key. and i've thought about that too. just eating what a child would eat.

Portion control is definitely important. And you're teaching your son to eat healthy and make good food choices!

If I just ate portion sizes like my son ate at meals, it'd be okay. As long as I didn't eat every time he ate though, he snacks (constantly hungry) a lot throughout the day! At least he eats decent food & not junk all day long & lucky him being little still & super active, he burns it all off, lol.

That's what I do when I'm nannying so I don't get that question "How come you never eat?". Though they're probably going to think it's normal for an adult to eat 1 or 2 slices of a 9inch pizza :P Their parents can deal with it later.
