136

I'm sick of being average.

Except, I'm not because the average American woman is now a size 14. And really, how nerdy is it of me to be curious what the mode is? It's just, I want to believe the morbidly obese are skewing the number, but I guess a quick glimpse around any public arena will tell you size 14 may not be far from accurate.

So, I guess in the grand scheme of ever expanding American waistlines, I'm actually quite small at a size 6, but all I want is to be a size 4 before I turn 27. I think if I was a size 4 I'd feel less average, but I won't know until I get there. Liquids only today, tomorrow will be only fruit and Thursday add in veggies and maybe cycle that until I hit a new low.

I'd love to get your opinions, do you think I should do the peacock feather in color? or only black? I'm on the fence about it.

I have feeling average too. Size 4 would be wonderful right about now.

And I think the color tattoo would be beautiful!

I think the feather would look nice either way. Perhaps get it done in black and white and greys, but done in such a way that you could add colour later? That way you can have it in black & white, and if you get sick of that, then you can have it in colour....

i feel very average as well. i guess we all just seek to be more special, more interesting because we know ourselves so well we almost seem boring to ourselves.

i would say do it just black and white but colour would be really nice too... hmmm.. difficult decision to make

I checked out the photos on Maryjanes page and I think color for sure. The first one is beautiful..I have a black rose on my arm and I'm thinking about adding some shading of purple because the black can look kind of dark on it's own with that big of a tattoo,so go for the color,u never regret color!

I have a pink tattoo. It's faint and lady-like... but I'm not a bold person so its perfect for me. Some people think I drew on myself with a highlighter... but I think that just has to do with the color I picked.

Color....I'm so happy you're getting your tattoo! My tattoo is very colorful, but tastefully...I wouldn't do anything differently...Oh, and you are far from average...I'm sure I would have a lot of people to back me up on that comment too...Good luck. I'm so excited for you! Much love...
